NOTE : I've transcribed this song in standard tuning because of the simple
reason that most of Nick Drake's tunings, while giving a fuller and richer
sound to the songs, are simply impractical & unworkable to use on a regular
basis.
I play it fingerstyle with a capo on the 7th fret. Although the open chord
shapes are written in the key of A, it will sound in its original key of E
because of the capo position. The first intro pattern doesn't sound as good
as the original, but sometimes you just can't get the same voicings in
standard tuning as you can in alternate ones. That's what makes them unique.
